Join the GESDA Science Breakthrough Radar and share your perspective on future science breakthroughs

Anticipate future scientific and technological advances and their impact on people, society, and the planet by supporting the Geneva Science and Diplomacy Anticipator – GESDA - and its Science Breakthrough Radar surveys and interviews.

Join the GESDA Science Breakthrough Radar and share your perspective on future science breakthroughs

The mission of the Geneva Science and Diplomacy Anticipator – GESDA – is to engage in science diplomacy and strengthen the international Geneva ecosystem by mapping science breakthroughs anticipated to happen in 5, 10 and 25 years, based on the input of the global scientific community.  This has been compiled in the GESDA Science Breakthrough Radar, which was launched at the inaugural GESDA  high-level summit in Geneva, October 2021. The Radar promotes science and diplomacy discussions around future breakthroughs, and feeds their findings into the design of concrete initiatives for the global common good.

In order to develop the Radar into a rolling tool of science anticipation, to keep up with the pace of science and to include the perspectives from a broader community, GESDA has launched a short set of themed surveys to gather insights into missing elements in the emerging topics descriptions. ISC Members and Affiliated Bodies are encouraged to share the survey with your members and networks to be part of this engaging process.

Share your perspectives on future scientific breakthroughs in the following Radar enhancement topics surveys:

GESDA also invites interested scientists to have a 30 minutes interview and share their perspectives, and their input will be included in list of contributors.

The enhanced and updated Radar will be released during GESDA’s second high-level summit in Geneva on 12-14 October 2022.
