2021 International Population Conference

The 2021 International Population Conference (IPC2021) will take place on 5 - 10 December 2021 in Hyderabad, India.
2021 International Population Conference

The IUSSP (International Union for the Scientific Study of Population) will hold its International Population Conference from 5-10 December 2021. This is the world’s largest scientific conference on population and demography, and it takes place once every four years. The conference brings together leading researchers, policymakers and practitioners from a wide range of disciplines and from across the globe, to present and discuss the latest research on a broad range of contemporary population issues and on innovations to population data and methods. As this year’s event will be fully online, we have established a low-cost attendee-only registration fee for people interested in following the conference.

The scientific program is available in English and French.

The conference is comprised of over 200 oral sessions across 25 different topic areas, with COVID-19 being a major cross-cutting theme, along with several sessions dedicated to Indian population issues, poster presentations, virtual exhibits and preconference training sessions.  In addition to the regular sessions created from the call for papers, there are keynote addresses and invited paper sessions on issues of special interest, sessions organized by the IUSSP scientific panels, and Research Leader sessions organized by institutions across the world.  Recordings of all sessions will be available on demand shortly after the live session to allow you to watch them at your convenience.
